Easter Bunny Backdrop

Easter Bunny Backdrop 1

Spread the love.

We’re a little late to share the details behind this fun project, but we just got the pictures back, and they are way too cute not to share.

We had the pleasure of making this backdrop for Twin Cities Moms Blog and their Crepes & Easter Bunny photo event. They hosted the event at The Wishing Tree Play Cafe and oooooh my goodness…deliciousness. My mouth waters every time I even hear the name of the space. Their crepes were to die for! And Greyson had the best time. We went there a day early to set up, and little man was in heaven. What a great space to go hang out, grab a cup of coffee, and let your kids do their thing while you can relax a bit. So if you’re close to White Bear, MN…we’d highly suggest checking out it and grabbing a bite.

Greyson was a little shy at first but warmed up pretty quick to the Easter bunny. He still talks about him and wonders where those eggs are. Two and a half is such a fun age. What a difference Christmas and Easter were this year from last! I can’t wait to see what next year will bring.

When asked to do the backdrop for this Easter event, we, of course, jumped at the chance again. We did the backdrop for their Santa event and even reused the shiplap backdrop we created for that. We put together a little video HERE on how we made the shiplap backdrop. But for the Easter event, we knew we needed to incorporate a lot of bright and colorful flowers. So we headed to Hobby Lobby and grabbed a ton of flowers.

I’m not a matching type of girl so I grabbed all the flowers and colors that I could find, with no real rhyme or reason. And then with a couple of nails and some wire, strung them all together to make one long string of flowers, grouping the colors together. I did have a pot full of flowers at the end of the string on the left, but it looks like it got pushed back out of the pictures. Haha! You can see all of the adorable kiddos and how the backdrop looked before we were the last ones to grab a shot over on the recap post on Twin Cities Moms Blog.

We’re in the process of making two additional backdrops for the sold out Twin Cities Moms Blog Bloom event this upcoming weekend, and we can’t wait to share with you what we created. And if you’re going- we can’t wait to meet and see you there and all the adorable pictures in front of the backdrops.

Have a great week friends!
