1. Kitchen Solution
Use a solution of equal parts apple cider vinegar and water to make a solution that will remove bacteria in your kitchen. With the water diluting the solution, the acid is not strong enough to eat away at surfaces.
Use this cleaner for countertops, your microwave, and stovetop.
2. Clean Your Dishwasher
Before you run your dishwasher, add a cup of apple cider vinegar to the bottom of your dishwasher. This will not only clean your dishwasher, but also help prevent mineral buildup on your glasses and dishware.
3. Cutting Boards
We all know that cutting boards can get nasty after cutting meat, garlic and other items. No matter how hard you scrub, it’s hard to know if you got it all.
Use apple cider vinegar to wipe them down, which will clean and sanitize them. No more worrying about chicken juices soaking in!
4. Clogged Drain
If your bathroom sink or tub is draining slowly, apple cider vinegar can help. Pour a 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain. Then pour 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, followed by a cup of hot water. After 10-15 minutes, rinse everything down with boiling water.
5. Washing Machine
Have you ever cleaned your washing machine?! We definitely haven’t, but now we will.
Add 2 cups of apple cider vinegar to your washing machine just like you would with detergent. Run the machine without any clothes and your machine will be squeaky clean.
6. Clean Windows, Walls, and Cabinetry
If you’re tired of streaky windows, fingerprints on your walls, and dirty cabinetry, this one is for you. Use equal parts water and apple cider vinegar and a rag to make your windows streak-free. Wipe your walls with the rag dipped in the mixture and clean your cabinets as well.
7. In the Garden
Get rid of weeds in the garden by pouring apple cider vinegar onto weed-prone spots. For fertilizing your soil, mix 10 ounces of apple cider vinegar with 10 gallons of water to make those plants grow!
