Contractor Coalition Summit Recap

contractor coalition summit in Nashville Tennessee

Spread the love.

My heart is so full writing this blog post from our past Contractor Coalition Summit, which was held this past May in Nashville, TN. A little late to the game on the recap post but better late than never.

And we’re back at it AGAIN for another Contractor Coalition Summit, only this time it’ll be held in Huntington Beach, CA November 6 – 9, 2022. You can find all of the details, speakers, and tickets here.

I teamed up with AFT Construction and NS Builders to put on this four day conference. It is all geared towards General Contractors.

To be a resource, learn, share and educate. There’s nothing we leave off the table.

Wondering how to address contracting systems, create organizational charts, how to bill, how to scale, create AIA docs, contracts, subcontracts, cost-plus percentages, scheduling, expansion on sales beyond the construction business, how to produce multiple streams of revenue through the construction industry, or simply how to run a profitable construction business? This is what it’s all about!

A little bit about my partners in crime.

Brad is the President and Founder of AFT Construction “A Finer Touch Construction” – a Scottsdale based luxury residential and commercial builder. AFT Construction, as known throughout the industry, is an award-winning construction firm and has been nationally published in magazines such as: Fine Home Building, Luxe Interiors and Design, and Professional Builder.

Brad Leavitt is an energetic public speaker and ambassador for many national brands including Kohler, Pella, Subzero-Wolf, Cambria, Elkay and Post-it Notes. Brad completed a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from BYU in 2005 and worked on notable projects around Phoenix, including the Omni Montelucia in Paradise Valley.

His Podcast, “The AFT Construction Podcast”, is focused on bringing value to its listeners, no matter their industry. The topics are focused on marketing, social media, entrepreneurship, organization, building science and construction.

AFT has continued to exceed industry standards and create strong client relationships based on integrity, reliability and quality.

Brad is married to Ashley Leavitt. Together, they have 6 children, 5 girls and 1 boy. Brad is active with all 6 of his children, serves in his local community, and loves all sports.

Contractor Coalition Summit Recap 2

Nick started NS Builders in 2014, fulfilling his lifelong dream to build amazing houses. Applying his education from Fitchburg State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology/Management and drawing from his real-world experience in building and construction management, Nick made the leap from employee to employer.

And what began as a small carpentry company eventually earned a stellar reputation for premier home building and large-scale renovation projects, custom cabinet millwork, and even a digital media company.

Nick realized early on that surrounding himself with the right people—dedicated, talented craftsmen who shared his vision for NS Builders—would be one of the wisest investments he could make. And that decision has undeniably paid off.

He generously shares his expert advice and first-hand knowledge of building and managing a construction business across multiple social media platforms, including the hugely popular Site Visits.

Nick has a firm grasp on how to harness the power of social media, connecting with his followers on a personal level, and providing trustworthy advice, practical tips, and solutions to help anyone take their business to the next level.

Nick’s mission: “To expand the potential of not only myself and my company, but to share my expertise with others. The construction business is always evolving; knowing how to adapt is the key to longevity and success.”

These two guys are truly the real deal. I’ve felt like I’ve known them a lifetime but after getting to now be business partners with them, they are two guys that would do anything for anyone.

And I am honored to be putting on this intentional conference alongside of them to help make this industry a better place.

There were many laughs held and deep conversations formed. Feel like I gained 30 new best friends!

This industry is not for the faint of heart, and we’re all about aligning ourselves with people who are just as successful, if not more.

I look at all these photos and wish I was there. It looks

like it was amazing! Unfortunately, I don’t know exactly if you talked about
business remodelling software, but maybe I will spark you some ideas for the
next workshop. The main points are as follows:

1. Such software can reduce the time you spend on
paperwork. You can easily process thousands of documents and edit or sign them.

2. You will be able to see the work of your team in
real time: how many contracts have been signed, rejected and are in progress.

3. This system works perfectly with various tools from
Excel to API. So you don’t have to duplicate all the data.

4. You will be able to concentrate on work and
strategy development, and all the little things will be automated.

This solution is a win-win for both contractors and
customers. I gives you the ability to work with visualized reports, quickly
upload images or send photos before starting work. You impress your customers
with a high level of service, they impress their friends who will use your
services. What do you think about such business solution?
