Another year is already gone, and a new one is here.
2017 was a good year, but a hard year.
Sometimes (as we’re learning) hard is good. Being in a difficult situation is good. Conflict is good. Life is hard. Growing a business is really hard. And raising little boys (that you want to change the world) is really, really, really hard.
It’s made us love harder, laugh things off more, talk often, and learn fast.
I had every intention of sending out Christmas cards this year, but like a lot of things, sometimes you just gotta throw your hands up in the air and forget it.
So, here’s our card…
We’re sitting down writing this together and thinking about the past year. It feels good to talk and reflect with your hubby.
Our baby Beckam joined our family this year, the happiest and our best accomplishment of the year.
Raising two kids ain’t easy. It feels like we had him yesterday, and yet it also feels like he’s been in our family all our married life. At eight-months-old this week, he’s such a happy, big boy. Any day now until he crawls.
Yes, Greyson is the sweetest big brother. Someone asked the other day if he ever fights with or hits Beckam and I was happy to say never, not once. He loves his little brother so much. The way he says, “Good Morning, Beckam,” every day and needs to kiss him every single night, melts our heart. We hope he never stops.
We officially have employees! If you missed it, Meet our Team. We honestly thought that taking that plunge would be our five-year plan, but here we are. And we can’t say enough good things about these guys. They’re beyond talented and all around fantastic people. They’ve helped take c2s to the next level, and we can’t wait to see what we do together in 2018.
We’ve completed some of our favorite projects and have met and worked with some fantastic families. (P.S. I started crying thinking about these families and the memories of working in their homes. It really means more to us than we can put into words. Knowing we’re helping families create homes to make a million memories in…we’re beyond grateful).
Spent our first full year in our third home, and started renovating it. First room was the laundry room, followed by Beckam’s nursery, and now off to the kitchen…we’ll see if we can finish it in 2018… haha!
And lastly, partnered and traveled with some spectacular brands we use and trust.
We’re so thankful for every one of you who spend the time to take this journey with us and read our blog. It means the world to us, and we can’t wait to get to know you all better in 2018.
