Basement Bar | Ham Lake, MN

We had the opportunity to work with these clients on several projects in their cozy home.  Here are the details of the addition of a bar to their finished basement.

Material Selections:

Fresh oak luxury vinyl plank flooring | Quartz composite Elkay bar sink | Black Delta bar faucet | Black and gold sconce lights | Brick look Cle Tile | Manomin Resawn Timbers paneling and shelves

the challenge

Our clients love to entertain and after they moved into their home, they wanted to make their finished basement the spot to be. Since the space was already roughed-in for a bar, it was the perfect spot to add a sink, faucet, and wine fridge. They also wanted space for guests to sit and hang out, so having a U-shaped bar was the ideal layout for them. Making this space cozy and unique was also high on the priority list.

our solution

Custom built cabinets painted in North Woods by Behr bring in the cozy and cabin feel. Light quartz countertops and brick-look tile make the space feel bright and open. Reclaimed wood paneling on the back of the peninsula and reclaimed wood shelving bring in natural elements. Complimenting the black faucet and sink are black and gold light fixtures above the shelving, which are on dimmer switches, allowing the space to have a cozy glow at night or when entertaining.
