Lofted beds – totally into them or not sure about the hype? We think they’re a genius idea for kids, creating more space in a room, and having a cozy nook to sleep in. Some of the benefits of lofted beds include that they come in a variety of styles, make for extra space for work and play, and provide more storage space. And as we’ve found in this inspiration, lofted beds aren’t just for those college years or for kids.
Here are some awesome designs we found that totally inspired us and will inspire you too:
Girly Lofted Bed
We love this loft bed from Hunted Interior and how it adds so much style and fun to this room. The curtains are perfect for closing off the bottom space, while the fun fabric brings personality to the bedroom.
Sliding Barn Door Loft Bed
How cool is this loft bed made by Jen Woodhouse?! In her tutorial, she includes all the materials you’ll need to build this on your own. She even has plans you can buy for only $20 to make this bed yourself, which is incredible!
Bunk Bed Loft Bed
This loft bed/bunk bed combo designed by Chip & Joanna Gaines is perfect for siblings sharing a room or for sleepovers. It’s also nice for having a desk underneath and creating comfy spots to just hang out.
Grown Up Loft Bed
In this post by Refinery 29, they share ideas for decorating a grown up adult bed and we are loving how this could be an option for any room or age.
Bookcase Loft Bed
A bookcase and bed in one looks like the perfect combo. We love this look with the storage underneath and metal railings for the loft bed. It takes a typical loft bed and “elevates” it to a whole new level 🙂
