Interior Designer

Tif is the one of the fresh faces on the c2s team, jumping on board May 2022! After years of knowing the names and faces of Morgan and Jamie through a close mutual friend, Tif decided it was time for a change of scenery in her career path and reached out to Morgan through Instagram – to just chat about new opportunities! She was craving more in her life of what 2s was putting out into the universe, and Tif knew she wanted to be a part of the ride.

Enter Tif : Interior Designer to c2s.

Tif comes with 15 years of interior design + client relationship experience, much of those years spent as an interior designer with Ethan Allen. She grew up in a small town of Prescott, WI, attending school both at UW-River Falls and UW-Stout. It was at Stout where she earned her BFA, with concentration in Interior Design. She loves details and figuring out the right color story and vibe to a project. She believes every design should be a true reflection of the client themselves and takes the time to form that story with them. She’s a great listener and observer but also knows how to kick back and have a good conversation. You can always find a friendly smile on her face.

Outside of creating, Tif enjoys time on the home front with her husband Chris, daughter Peyton and cocker spaniel Addie, in Apple Valley, MN

Best childhood memory?

I loved so much of my childhood – there’s not just one! I grew up in the country – so many memories of being outside, roaming the land! Really simple things of riding my bike down to my grandparent’s farm, playing school with friends in the playhouse my dad built in our backyard, making forts with friend’s for sleepovers, playing dress up in my mom’s clothes/make-up, camping with my family at Nugget Lake…I could go on and on now that I’ve jogged my memory…

One person you’d love to have lunch with?

JoAnna Gaines – she seems to have a beautiful and genuine vibe – to her life, relationships and design work. Would probably love a duo lunch with Chip too! Love the humor behind this couple.

Favorite Book or Podcast?

I don’t read many books! But before motherhood, enjoyed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson. A podcast I listen to is We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle

If you could time travel, when would you go?

I would travel to the 70’s! I am an 80’s baby so I’d go back and feel out what the decade before I entered the world was all about. I think the fashion and interiors were all pretty sweet of that era.

Favorite teacher, leader or mentor and why?

I have to zone in on a team of mentors: my parents, in-laws, husband, a very good friend, Katie. I trust these people – they understand me, yet know to push me past my comfort zones. They help me navigate through life and are my cheerleaders! They also help remind me not to take life too seriously.
