We couldn’t be more excited to be apart of The Her Initiative event on April 9th here in Minneapolis. This event is to support women on a local and global level. Make sure to stop by and see us. We’ll have lots of free goodies!

This is a charity event with all proceeds benefiting The Her Initiative (in partnership with Healing Waters), a non-profit geared towards bringing clean water and hygiene to women in developing countries while empowering women here in the states. The event will consist of a $25 donation-based workout class from 9-9:45am led by me (nourishmovelove.com), followed by an intro of The Her Initiative from Kayla, followed by brief intro of Fit Foodie Finds, a local food blogger who’s providing healthy snacks/treats post-workout. The event will wrap up with a social hour and small vendor fair of small, locally MN owned businesses from 10:15-11:30 am.

What is The Her Initiative?

In developing countries drinking water is unsafe, containing bacteria and parasites that cause constant illness. The lack of safe water has locked many women into a cycle of poverty. It’s a serious issue of injustice, one that Healing Waters is working to solve through The Her Initiative. The Her Initiative provides access to clean water to women in the developing world. And we’re so honored to help this cause.
