Pressure Cooker Recipes: Take the pressure out of weeknight meal prep

If you’re not familiar with an instant pot, or pressure cooking, it works on a simple principle, steam pressure. A sealed pot, with a lot of steam inside, builds up high pressure, which helps food cook faster. Also known as an Instant Pot. If you already own one, you may not use another appliance, it’s that good.

Pressure cooking offers many advantages such as nutrients, energy and time. The longer food is cooked, the more nutrients it destroys. Since pressure cooking speeds up the process more nutrients are absorbed. You can cook up to 70% faster when a pressure cooker is used. And they can also be used to preserve food, with canning.
