This past week has been a whirlwind, especially this past weekend. Jamie and I have been putting in long, long days, but luckily we got to chill out Sunday (even though I did have one client meeting- but it was shopping so that doesn’t count!).
Our new routine, and the thing we’re promising ourselves, is that we leave our Sundays open for family and fun. So far we’ve been 3/4th successful. It’s been a little weird telling people no, but I gotta say, it’s pretty awesome! It feels so refreshing getting up and doing whatever we feel like and knowing we have zero plans.
We’re trying to wrap up three projects and get started on three more. All while finishing up our own home to get it on the market and onto our next renovation property. We typically like to only work on one project at a time, but when things get delayed due to material shipments, and we had other projects that we promised to start, sometimes our jobs just get overlapped. I love it, because it keeps us on our toes.
Remember those floors that were buried under five layers of tile? Well, we finally wrapped up that kitchen remodel and spent the day Friday working on a fun install for their living room. We are going to have this baby wrapped up by middle of next week and we can’t wait to share the final before and after.
Besides working on the south Minneapolis reno, we’ve been working hard on our basement, lots of shopping for staging pieces, de-cluttering our home, putting together two upcoming design plans, tile shopping with an upcoming client, got out four bids, and even had time for some Sunday golf!
Such a crazy but fun weekend! We wouldn’t want it any other way. We can’t wait to share lots more of the fun projects we have coming up. Back to the hustle and grind! Have a great week friends!
