Updating our Exterior

We’re on the home stretch to get all of the big things crossed off of our list before we sell! WAHOOO!!

Jamie and his dad tore off all of our exterior siding, what feels like 10 years ago, but I think it was actually in May. So the entire summer we’ve been living with a gigantic¬†scaffold in the middle of our patio and the back of our house half way put together.

But after this weekend we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Last weekend Jamie spent the entire weekend finishing hanging up the siding and trim so this weekend we started and finished painting. Surprisingly it only took us part of Saturday to complete. I thought for sure it was going to take us the entire weekend if not longer.

It was the perfect weekend to be outside and get home projects done. The sun was shining all day and as we got everything cleaned up and put away it started to sprinkle and a few hours later rain- but luckily it didn’t affect our paint job.

We got a few inquiries on Instagram about the color we chose. We got the color matched from the former trim color. So unfortunately, it wasn’t your typical paint color. It was a little darker than we had hoped. But I don’t mind it. Dark Grey is after all my favorite color.

Now onto the basement to get our trim hung. Our goal is August 12th to get this baby listed! Let’s see if we can do it…
