The first thing we noticed and loved was how open the kitchen was already. No walls needed to come down. What we did instead was adjusted and resized the island to be able to maximize the view of the lake.
The kitchen and living room layout remained the same. We just needed to update cosmetics throughout.
We were able to stick with our original plan of keeping the kitchen footprint the same. Our favorite part when we toured the home was that it already had an open concept feel with the kitchen and living room and it all overlooked gorgeous Lake Minnetonka.
