For this living room our client was looking for all new furniture, lighting, and updated paint. The other element for the living room was an entertainment center that would include closed storage, a space for the TV, and open shelving for decor. The custom designed and built entertainment center was the perfect solution to our client’s living room.

Our client’s top priority was to incorporate functional storage in their living room without sparing any aesthetics. Our client had been using two bookshelves and a TV stand and she wanted to bring this concept together into one custom piece that would provide storage and a beautiful entertainment center in her living room.
We recently completed a board and batten accent wall in the master bedroom of this home. Check that out here. We decided to use shiplap in the living room to tie the two spaces together without being too repetitive. To provide storage we added a custom built in cabinetry with open shelving as well as base cabinetry with doors to keep some items hidden. We drilled a hole through the back of the shiplap, inserted a CVP pipe that brought it down the TV cords to the base cabinet for easy access. To keep the room feeling light, bright and airy we painted the cabinetry white with gold accent hardware.
