We are so happy that we were able to help these clients develop the open concept dining room, kitchen, and living room they were looking for. In addition to the kitchen remodel we also provided styling on the main level.
Our clients were looking for a space that was more open and that would work better with their family. We suggested taking out the wall that divided the kitchen and formal dining room. They also wanted to take out the pillars beyond the wall that divided the dining room to the front formal sitting room area to make it one large dining room area that was open to the kitchen. In addition, they wanted their living room to be updated with furniture that was more their style and fit their family’s lifestyle.
By opening up the wall and make the space one open concept, it makes it feel so much brighter and works well for the whole family. They can all be together, whether it’s in the living room, dining room, or kitchen. Walnut cabinets by Kills Custom Cabinets makes the kitchen feel warm and rich. We chose a white island to keep the space light and contrast the cabinets on the perimeter. Replacing the angled island with a large rectangular island ensures that it can fit more people and would allow for more countertop space for cooking and entertaining. In the living room, we refreshed the space by painting the fireplace, bringing in new furniture, hanging window treatments, and styling the space with all new decor.
