Budget Bathroom Decor

Spread the love.

When renovating and flipping homes you have to think smart when it comes to the purchases you are putting into the home to sell. If your not watching your budget closely you can easily put in more than you might be able to profit. Within our renovation properties we always are budgeting when it comes to decor.

So today we wanted to share with you our bathroom decor on a budget and even how we got these mirrors for under $10 bucks.

Within our master bathroom renovation we have very simple and classic decor pieces. We do our best to try to create homes that won’t look dates in the next couple years. To create a timeless look it is best to use neutral and natural elements- woods, bricks, and white’s or light beige’s. And we always try to think of how we can DIY something before buying.

Mirrors can often times be very expensive. When decor shopping and I come across a steal of a deal on mirrors I typically buy them, even if I don’t have a home for it yet. Awhile ago, I came across two oval black mirrors from Walmart for under $10. I immediately bought them and when we renovated this home, I knew they were going to look great over the double sink vanity, but I knew the black had to go. I taped off the mirror and sprayed the outer edges silver. I don’t think anyone could guess both of those mirrors together costed $16.

I love mixing metals with our home decor. So when I had the silver fixtures and mirrors I knew I had to get some fun gold decor for the walls. I waited awhile before I ran across these three picture frames at Home Goods. Each frame was right around $10, with my grand total being $32. I printed black and white imagery online and found the “I love us” sign at Patina for $18.

The fake flowers and white picture frame for the decor touch on the DIY granite countertops were also purchased from Home Goods for $6-$8 each. If you live near a Home Goods, it is one of our favorite places to shop for our home decor on a budget.
2015-12_Molitor-Bath-3We also made the vanity and concrete countertops. The drawers within the middle of the vanity we were able to salvage from the office desk we removed within the kitchen remodel. We then built around the drawers to create a double sink vanity. Being we loved the look of rocks and stone, we decided to create a concrete countertop, which you can learn how to make on your own HERE.

We hope you enjoyed this post and can find some great decor pieces for your home for a steal of a deal and still have classic pieces.
