5 Months Baby Bumping | Boy or Girl?

I am officially 21 weeks! Holla! Halfway down, halfway to go. God bless Jesus! And tomorrow is the big day!!! We find out if it’s going to be a little itty-bitty Jamie or mini-me.

We had our four-month check-up a few weeks ago and I can’t even describe the elation to hear that tiny heartbeat. I wish we could have laid there all day.

My second trimester has been going really well, I really can’t complain about a thing. The first was pretty rough so I feel like a new woman again! Let’s just pray it stays like this.

Our little babes has been going crazy in that womb too. I’ve been feeling kicks for a couple months now but it feels that the last couple weeks he wants to jump right out of me. He’s definitely getting his daily getting his back flips in. Jamie hasn’t been able to feel him quite yet, but from what I’ve read it should be any day now. And Greyson loves to say hello and talk to his new little brother or sister. He keeps telling us he has a baby inside his tummy too.

I’m usually not one to take pictures publicly of the baby bump but I got a lot of people asking about my maternity clothes on my post- 9 Must Knows to Make Your Pregnancy More Comfortable over on the Twin Cities Moms Blog. I talked about how much I love H & M maternity clothes but the other I recently discovered is NOM Maternity. That’s the blue sweater I’m wearing in these pictures. I mean how cute are these clothes?! I love that it’s banded on the side for that continuously growing belly. Here are a few of my other must have favorites from NOM Maternity. They are all so comfortable, great quality, and a couple of the pieces I got- I’ll be able to wear for awhile post pregnancy.

I had a reader once say that pregnancy is awful because your style goes out the window. Ummmm….hold up. No way. That girl is clearly just shopping at the wrong places. I mean, yes we can’t wear our size 0 skinny jeans (not that I have ever worn those, haha) but there are some beautiful maternity clothes in all sizes. And NOM is one of them. Not to mention their team is so sweet! And there’s nothing I love more than supporting nice people.
