Happy Friday gang! Can you believe Christmas is in 9 days!!?? I’m not gonna lie, though, I’m a little sad because I already feel like it’s flying by. And we just are moving into our new home today so are just now going to get our Christmas decor up. So we will for sure be making the decor last all winter. Time needs to slooooow down. We started our Christmas shopping a couple weeks ago and it got us thinking how we never know what to buy for one another. Impact Drill
Jamie can’t live without his impact drill. An impact drill looks the same as a regular drill but, instead of a keyless chuck, it has a collet that accepts hex-shanked driver bits. This tool also drills long and large fasteners, including flat lag screws, that could stall a typical drill. Below are a few of some good ones.

QALO rings are the perfect alternative for wedding rings. As I’m sure you know, wearing your wedding ring can be dangerous in the woodworking field. One wrong jump off a ladder or wrong turn with your power tools and there goes your finger. We both now wear our QALO rings 24/7 and don’t have to worry about a thing. Plus they’re affordable. Boom Box
I got this boom box for Jamie a couple years ago and it’s still going strong. With technology nowadays you wouldn’t think the guys would want something like this but Jamie likes not having to use his phone and best of all not leave something expensive on the job site just in case it gets stolen or a hammer dropped on it and breaks. You can find something similar to this boom box below. Boom Boxes can range from $20-$200. Jamie just wanted an inexpensive lightweight one and it’s been going strong for over 2 years and it costed under $20.
Laser Tape Measurer
This was another great gift Jamie bought me in the past and he loved it so much he stole it from me and then I had to buy one for him the next holiday. Isn’t it funny sometimes how the husband and wife gifts work? Haha! Anyhoo…it’s a gem and it saves a ton of time when we have to go and get quick measurements for estimates, especially long measurements. No hassle and it’s super slick and accurate. For the DIY Woman
Tool Box
Jamie bought this tool box for me last year and it was honestly the sweetest thing he could have ever done. Not to mention it was loaded with goodies of all the essentials than any DIY girl needs. And of course he filled it with all of his favorite brand tools becuase he’s a tool snob. And I thought it was sweet until he told me that he was just sick of me taking his stuff and then not putting it back in the right place afterwards. Haha!

Greyson loves, loves, loves his tool belt. We got this tool belt for him with a couple hammer toys and he is always looking for his tool belt. It melts our heart. And it’s super inexpensive and there’s not a day he doesn’t want it on. Major score with this one!

This is on our list for Greyson this year! He is such a little mini- Jamie it’s seriously the cutest thing in the world. Everything daddy does, Greyson does. So this year we’re going big or go home! He’s getting his own workshop area to work right alongside daddy.
