The clients whose master bathroom project we’re working on, we’re also going to refresh their kitchen.
They want to brighten up their kitchen space a bit but keep the original woodwork and cabinetry. To stay on budget we recommended new light quartz countertops, putting in a backsplash that will complement the light counters and the maple cabinets, and installing a new under-mount sink and faucet.
First, we started by choosing the countertops because that is what will make the biggest statement. We settled on Cambria Quartz Brittanicca Warm. Brittanicca Warm is part of Cambria’s new marble collection. As the name states, it’s just like the Brittanicca design but warmer. I think the warmer tones will complement the maple cabinets well.
We used the original design, Brittanicca, in the kitchen we did last summer, but this will be a first for us installing this new marble design. We can’t wait to see what it looks like once installed!
We’re still deciding on a backsplash and waiting for a few more samples to come in. But now that we’ve settled on the countertop the backsplash selection should be made this week. We’re also going to put in a new Elkay designed sink for the kitchen, and we can’t wait to show you guys how this space all comes together.
Here are the before shots. We’ll share shots along the way as this project progresses.
