Okay, brace yourself for a bold claim – dare I say, this chicken lettuce wrap recipe may just be better than the original PF Chang’s recipe itself? If I do say so myself – this recipe totally outshines those famous PF Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and those wraps are already high up there on my list! Plus this recipe is simple, easy, and healthy.
Seriously, this dish has become a go-to in our house. It’s a no-fuss, one-pot wonder that’s not just tasty but packs a punch of nutrients too. Every bite is like a flavor explosion that just hits the spot. Trust me, once you try it, you’ll be hooked. It’s like the ultimate comfort food upgrade. You could even ditch the rice we throw inside or forgo the lettuce, and you got yourself one mean MN hotdish as well.
When I was living out in California, I worked at a Seafood restaurant called Gladstone’s, which I highly recommend if you ever make it to Long Beach, CA. Gladstone’s was located on the pier right next door to PF Chang’s, and after our shifts wrapped up, the crew and I practically had a routine – at least twice a week, we’d hustle over to PF Chang’s for some serious grub and maybe a drink or two. And without fail, guess what I’d always order? The chicken lettuce wraps. I’d scarf them down like there was no tomorrow, and it wasn’t even uncommon for me to polish off another round solo. They were just that good. So it was a no brainer that I had to perfect the chicken (or you could do ground turkey) lettuce wrap recipe over the years.
