Happy Wednesday friends!

Last Thursday, alongside my girl Emmy at Alta Events, we put on BizCom Summit and we’re still smiling thinking about the night. SO many incredible humans all in a creative space sharing our marketing knowledge with one another. We had the best time and for those of you that came, we hope you did as well.

We had the talented Josh Hardlson shoot photos for us to capture the night and Chelsie Lopez and Lee Wickstrom video recording all the moments, so we didn’t miss a thing to share with you.

To quickly recap the event. We’ve been holding monthly workshops at our office throughout the past year and we wanted to take it up a notch this month and put on a larger scale event. Since our office only holds 20 people, we moved it to Mercury Mosaics in Northeast to accommodate close to 100 people. Not to mention that place is so inspiring!! Even if we didn’t have speakers there presenting I know we all would have left with our creative juices flowing.

We had two different break out sessions and a panel of businesses and bloggers to finish off the night.

The beautiful Wynne Reece from Reece Law and Creatives Counsel chatted all about the Legalities of Your Online Presence. Our SEO team, Tim Brown and Bea Bonte from Hook Agency talked through 7 SEO Experiments that Skyrocketed Our Traffic (and One That Failed Horribly). Our good friend Lindsey Bomgren from Nourish, Move, Love, chatted through her 80/20 Shift Between Marketing and Content. My girl Jen Biswas from Paisley & Sparrow and myself teamed up and talked about How to Create a Successful Influencer Blog Strategy. And lastly, the panel consisted of Alyssa Greve (Cambria), Meghan Joy Yancy (Meghan Joy Today), Jessica Petrie (Maccabee), Jen Biswas (Paisley & Sparrow), that was Moderated by Emma Sievers (BA Women).

We’ll hopefully have the videos to share with you guys soon so you can also gain all of their wonderful insight.
