We’ve been working our booties off over the last few weeks tearing apart and putting back together a bathroom in St. Paul and we have been slacking on sharing with you guys what we have been up to behind this project. Being the project is already almost done we wanted to share a little behind the scenes of the before and demo action before we share the afters next week (hopefully).
Our clients wanted to update their entire space. Especially that tub area, the ceiling above the shower was dropped down so it gave the room a super enclosed feel. They wanted to really open everything up and make it bigger and brighter.
After a few weeks of going back and forth on designs we decided on incorporating both white subway tiles and black hexagon tiles. We’re using the white subway for the bathroom shower surround and black hexagon tiles for the bathroom floor, and of course a little fun mosaic tiles in the niches. To stay within budget we got all of the tile from Home Depot for some really great deals! We also are replacing the vanity with a nice white vanity and butcher block top. Check it out and let us know what you think…
