Over the past couple years we have had the opportunity to be apart of the annual American Craft Council shows. The American Craft Council is a national organization committed to connecting and galvanizing diverse craft communities. Through their multiple events over the year they invite artists, thought leaders, craft practitioners, curators, civic leaders, writers, critics, media makers, social activists, and all kinds to explore, challenge, and celebrate craft’s impact in American life today.
Through these events, they have opened my eyes to some of the most one of a kind pieces, furniture, artists, and makers there are here within the Twin Cities. No matter what the time of year, at these events I’m always getting my gift giving items done here and they always are a fun surprise to give to friends and family being they are so one of a kind and unexpected.
