There are so many fun and creative ways to display pictures at your wedding reception. For our wedding, we wanted to somehow incorporate our guests wedding photos into our wedding decor.
You’re wedding day is the perfect day to showcase your loved ones. And photos are a great way to show your character, who you are and have become together as a couple. They are meaningful and an easy way to add a personal touch to your wedding decor. It is also a great way to honor the loved ones who couldn’t be there on your special day. So Jamie and I did this a few different ways.
My friend Cameron had displayed her families wedding photos on a large board at her wedding reception and I just thought it was the coolest idea. So of course, I had to use this idea at our wedding.
Family Wedding Photos
We took a 4×8 sheet of plywood and wallpapered it with the same wallpaper we used to create our photo booth picture wall.
We then printed and framed their wedding pictures in 8×10 white vintage picture frames.
We laid the showcase board up against the barn wall by the entrance. I borrowed these picture frames from my friend Cameron that she had purchased off of Ebay.
Centerpieces
We also asked all of our aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to mail us their wedding photos. We then found antique picture frames and used them as the centerpieces for our tables.
Bridal Bouquet Charm
I bought this adorable charm off of Etsy for under $10 and framed a picture in honor of my dad, who was greatly missed and beside me the entire day.
Childhood, Friends and Family Photos
A great way to make everyone feel included and loved is to display photos with your friends and family. It also is a great trip down memory lane to give a lot of good laughs. So instead of having a video presentation or photo books of our childhood photos, I hung twine around the barn and close-pinned photos of our friends and family.
Guest Book
I created a creative memories photo album for our guest book. I also framed a 8×10 picture of each of our families separately and one photo of our co-joined families together.
With Pinterest more and more couples are thriving on ways to make their weddings as unique as possible. If your like me and love pictures as much as I do, you’ll have hundreds of photos you’ll want to display at your wedding. So I hope some of these ideas can help to inspire you for your own!
