Happy Monday friends! We hope you all had a wonderful weekend enjoying the sunshine. We spent this past weekend up north in the Iron Range with Jamie’s family. It was a Christmas gift from his brother and his girlfriend, which made us realize just how important giving the gift of time together is. We can’t imagine a better gift to give anyone.
Greyson was in heaven with his aunties and uncles, grandparents and puppy cousins splashing around in the puddles, swimming in the lake, exploring and biking on the trails. We definitely underestimated the number of outfits we needed to bring on a camping adventure with an almost 2 year old.
We are so blessed to have such an awesome and adventurous family. When we all get together it’s always sure to be a good time!
We bought our grandparent’s motorhome last year and were only able to go camping a couple times last summer. Now that Greyson is getting older and there is no other place he’d rather be than outside, we can’t wait to go on a million more adventures with it. Minnesota is such a beautiful state and even though we were both born and raised here we have so much more to see. And we’re even more excited to see it all through Greyson’s eyes. I can’t even explain how much it melts our hearts to watch him see new places and things.
And our favorite part, Jamie’s mom made a weekend of scavenger hunts for us. It came down to a tie, and I’m sad to say we lost. We even had the maintenance people open up their storage shed to find us a christmas ornament! haha!
And now it’s back to the hustle and grind. We hope you have the best week friends.
Happy Renovating.
