Have you checked out Magnolia‘s new line in person at Target? It’s called Hearth and Home and we’re obsessed. With Thanksgiving, Christmas, parties, and events coming up, the dishware and decor are perfect for an effortless and everyday look. By using the same few pieces, we were able to create various tablescapes that can transition from a formal Thanksgiving dinner to a Christmas party with friends, or an everyday dinner with the fam!
1. Start With the Basics
The dishes we picked up were simple black and white, which are great staples. When your dishware and silverware are neutral, you can create many different options for various placemats and decor.
2. Add in Some Greenery
A little greenery goes a long way. We got these strands of eucalyptus from JoAnn Fabrics, but you can find them at any craft store. We used it as a centerpiece with some candles and on the plate for some extra flair.
3. Play Around With Your Layout
Use a black sharpie and kraft paper to create a custom look and layout by adding names, thankful lists, and more. Switch out napkins and glasses to play around with your layout. We love the gold mugs for some sparkle and flair.
How cute is this cookie cutter hammer?! Perfect for Jamie’s place setting.
4. Create a Fun Kids Table
Although the adult table is looking great, the kids should have some fun too. Use extra kraft paper for name tags and add napkins used as a placemat. Keep it simple, and with the kraft paper tablecloth, the kids can draw turkeys, leaves, and what they’re thankful for.
5. Style a Cutting Board with Cheese and Bread
No party is complete without a cheese tray. This is an elegant look that can transition from an everyday get together with girlfriends to the perfect thing to bring to a dinner party. Add in some greenery and grapes for pops of color
