We’re back with another bath reveal. This time two bathroom remodels and refreshes, one primary and one powder bath.
We always love a good bathroom remodel! This was a fun project because we’ve known the homeowner personally for many years.
She went to college at the U of M with my cousin – who is basically my sister, and my brother is her wealth management advisor.
I’ve known this beauty of a soul for a good 15 + years. We were so excited when she reached out and hired us to reinvent a couple of her bathrooms within her family’s townhome in Hopkins.
Owner’s Bath
First up, is the owner’s bathroom. The first time we got a tour of this home, we knew it was a unique property.
Three levels and it had a “snack chute” from the kitchen down to the basement aka a gaming area. Now if that wasn’t the most brilliant feature to incorporate within a home.
But there were a few other features that weren’t quite as great … insert c2s.
Before
Their primary bedroom and bathroom also had another door that leads into the hallway and the shower wasn’t also used to its fullest potential.
As you can see in the before photo below, we’re not sure … maybe that shower pan area was used for a drying area?
This isn’t a bad thing – but why not make the shower larger, and that’s exactly what we did.
And after many conversations with our client on if we lose that hallway door, it stayed (she was thinking of resale and there’s another bedroom on this floor).
We love a bathroom remodel though that doesn’t take much reconfiguration – framing and drywall. The layout within this space remained the same, just with a whole new look and vibe.
