Yesterday we shared the owner’s bathroom’s full reveal at the Lorien Home, and today we’re sharing the kid’s bath. As we mentioned in yesterday’s blog post, we started this project right as the coronavirus pandemic hit, and as our clients were selling their former home and moving into this one.
We completely renovated their master bathroom, kid’s bath, and the entire lower level. These clients were such a joy to work with, which also led to a seamless process from start to finish.
Today we’re going to dive into the details of the kid’s bath, and tomorrow, we’ll be back sharing the lower level reveal. Are you ready?!
Before
As you can see, the guest/kid’s bathroom was pretty basic, and being it was their kids’ bathroom, they wanted to freshen it up and add some fun elements to it.
Unlike the owner’s bathroom, the room was smaller and had a good layout, so no structural changes were needed. The new vanity, countertop, sink, faucets, flooring, mirrors, and finishes were all done.
Design Rendering
And I have to say, this wave wallpaper was perfect for the kids’ bath, don’t you think?! I could hardly wait to see it installed!
Under Construction
Once designs were done and the client approved, we were on our way with construction.
And I screamed when I saw the wallpaper in person. It was even better in real life!
After
Dun, dun, dun…and the final reveal!
From the wallpaper to the light and bright vanity, black hardware and faucets complemented the perfect eternity gray floor tile. I think it was the perfect combination to freshen the space up and bring in some happy kid-friendly feels.
Much like the master bathroom, we chose a Medallion vanity in a Lancaster door style in maple. Only instead of leaving it the wood-look we went with white icing paint. It was also complemented with a cultured marble sink + countertop from ProSource.
So what do you think?! Which part of the kid’s bathroom is your favorite? For me, it’s hands down the wallpaper!
