Oh my gosh you guys, I can’t stop smiling!
This past week we had been crazy people getting the house as done as it was going to be for an influencer brunch we hosted this past Sunday for 20 beautiful ladies. There may have been trim missing in places and paint touch ups here and there but when you have a party to plan, it’s time to wrap it up and get to the fun part- styling time!
There are so many great Instagrammers and bloggers here in the Twin Cities and that we are friends with online, but we have never actually met in real life. So back when we first started planning for our kitchen remodel one of the first things I knew that I wanted to plan was a little blogger brunch.
And this past Sunday it finally happened, and it was more than I could have imagined. And I can’t wait to share all the fun we had on actual Sunday with you all soon.
But first, styling day…
In preparation for the brunch, I invited a few of the girls over to style the space. Back in November, I asked these girls if they’d be part of the styling day and they were all immediately a hell yes. At first, I was thinking of doing a style off and we’d all style our own spaces and involve our readers in what space they liked best. A little mini competition if you will. But then I decided it would be a lot more fun to do it all together. And we are all about community over competition!
Erin from Francois Et Moi, Jen from Paisley and Sparrow, and Katie from JKath all came over to help get our space in shape. These three brands all have the most adorable homes, and if I could get our home to look anything likes theirs, I would scream!
And after this session and having the girls over, it wasn’t too far off! I can’t thank you ladies enough for taking the time out of your day and away from your own work and families to help us get our home in shape. You guys killed it! I can’t wait for another project to collaborate on.
Bellacor and Timber & Tulip also graciously lent us furniture to use to style the space. And of course, our talented photographer Chelsie was there to capture all of the moments for us. We also hired our friend Alyssa to make all of the floral arrangements, and we had our two girls, Jordan and Carmen, getting all the goodie bags in order.
It was such a fun day; I wish I could con these girls into helping me style all of our client’s homes. They are beyond talented and the energy that they put out is so contagious you can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of inspiration after a day of styling with them.
We also had a ton of incredible brands send us goodies to give to the bloggers. I was completely blown away by the goods they sent. A huge thank you to HANDy Paint, Fiskars, Urban Floor, Room & Board, Elkay, Zephyr, Mercury Mosaics, Family Laser, and cliqstudios. You guys outdid yourselves.
Can’t wait to share all the details behind the party with you guys next!
