We’ve talked about this bathroom on our Instagram stories for awhile now, and we are so excited to finally show you the full reveal!
Yet again, we had the best clients ever, and it’s been a lot of fun working with this family. Lucky for us, once we wrapped up this project they asked us to finish their basement bathroom. Slowly but surely, we’re tackling that project right now.
These guys came to us not entirely sure on what they wanted for the space. The only thing they knew they wanted was the tub gone and replaced with a large double headed shower. Where the shower once was, they wanted to incorporate more storage. They also knew they wanted warm tones.
So we spent a Friday night together at The Tile Shop pulling different selections together until we were able to find the perfect warm tones that they loved.
Let’s get to the fun part…and take you back to the before…
Before
After
We weren’t able to find a vanity that fit perfectly into this nook, so Jamie custom built one. He also built the built-in cabinetry in the photo here below. That is where the shower once was.
This client wanted to incorporate warm tones and natural textures into the space. We had previously done another spa-like bathroom in the past and it is still one of our favorites. So we were stoked when they wanted the same feel and style. Love brining the outdoor feel into any design. Incorporating contrasting materials and colors within your space is an easy and sophisticated way to add interest and depth. Bold tiles paired with muted color tones catches the eye and makes for a bold statement, like we did here with the niche and bathroom wall surrounds.
Then for the flooring we chose a stone and wood-like tiles. Using natural accents within a space brings a clean, spa-like oasis into your bathroom and home. Live plants and bamboo decor was also a must when it came to the styling of the space. This space didn’t need a lot of styling because the shower and vanity already made for a big statement, so we kept it simple, just adding a few pieces that the client loved and kept.
So fun! Before and after posts are hands down always my favorite posts to share. Hope you guys love the space as much as we do and can gain some inspiration for your home projects. Here’s a breakdown of the selections we incorporated into the space with links down below. Enjoy!

Oh thank you so much! That is so sweet of you! Really appreciate the kind words. 🙂 I’m sure your bathroom looks AMAZING!
I live in Rochester Minnesota and had my bathroom redone (by someone) less than a year ago. Compare to your before and after pictures, I feel a little sad hadn’t find your site/services a little sooner. You seem to know how to showcase your work well with the website and unique content. I like it a lot. Keep up the good work!
