If you missed our post last week in collaboration with Evereve, we shared the adorable “Raising my Tribe” tank and what that means to us. Well we got a couple more awesome prints and stories for you. Since it’s Mother’s Day week, I wanted to chat about what Mother’s Day actually means to me.

What Mother’s Day Means to Me
I have always loved Mother’s Day, and now that I’m a mom, I love it even more. Not because my Jams showers me with so much love on that day, but because being a mom has brought a whole new meaning to my life.
My mother, mother-in-law, grandmothers, godmother, aunties, sisters, and all the wonderful women in my life mean the world to me. Every single one of them are truly such an inspiration. They are strong women that lead by example and have become my role models in my life. I can’t imagine being a mom without the support, love, experiences, hugs, tears, and laughs from these ladies. The past two years with this little guy have been the best and most emotional years in my life.
Last week I wrote a post over on Twin Cities Moms Blog about how I juggle it all being a wife and mom. I was blown away by the number of personal emails I received from moms that were complete strangers sharing their stories, struggles, successes, and thanking me for motivation. I actually cried reading a couple of them.
I knew being apart of the Twin Cities Moms Blog team was going to be an amazing experience. What I didn’t realize was how I was going to be able to touch other mom’s lives in the ways that I already have with just one simple post. I cannot wait for life ahead and all of the wonderful relationships I’m going to build from being apart of that group. I feel such a crazy connection to other moms out there in the world, even complete strangers. It’s a connection that I can’t even explain. We all just get each other and motivate, support, and help one another get up when it’s so easy to get down, especially on ourselves. Evereve has another great tank that I’m going to need to buy…”I’m a mom, what’s your superpower?” And it’s so true! Superwoman has nothing on us mommas!
Evereve released this video last year and it brought tears to my eyes. I think I’ve probably watched it 100x in the last year.
