We shared all the details behind the primary ensuite at the #UptownModernChateau yesterday, and today, it’s all about the guest bathroom reveal. This space embodies simplicity and cleanliness with a twist of vibrant charm.

As you enter this guest bathroom, you’re greeted by a refreshing and uncluttered space. The walls are adorned in calming tones, creating a serene atmosphere. But here’s where the magic happens: it’s in the shower. A burst of lively color adorning the tiles, injecting energy and vitality into the room. It’s a delightful surprise, a pop of vibrancy amidst the serene backdrop.

Before

Let’s start with the most intriguing part – the “before.” Our aim for this chateau bathroom remodel was to enhance its spaciousness by adding the light and airy ambiance. Given the vintage charm of this century-old house, preserving its character through the remodeling process was paramount to our clients. We were particularly smitten with the beautiful windows, so retaining them was a non-negotiable. Their timeless allure had to be a part of the revamped design.

Designs

Let’s talk about the designs and finishes. Elegant gold accents grace the fixtures and accessories, adding a touch of sophistication. The interplay between the vibrant hues in the shower and the opulent gold finishes creates a captivating contrast, elevating the space to new heights. This combination of sophistication and playfulness gives the bathroom a timeless appeal with a dash of contemporary fun. It’s a design that captivates the eye, offering a delightful experience for every guest who steps inside. Welcome to a space where simplicity meets style, and every detail tells a story of chic elegance and cheerful charm.

We worked closely with our wonderful architect Jennifer at American Prairie Architects to ensure everything was planned perfectly and precisely within this space so that there was no room for error.

After

In shaping our design vision, our foremost goal was to infuse the space with a luminous atmosphere. To achieve this, we chose pristine walnut cabinetry, not just as storage but as a radiant canvas reflecting the interplay of light. Paired with quartz countertops and embellished with delicate gold Delta Brizo champagne bronze fixtures, the room glowed with warmth.

Our inspiration drew from the timeless charm of chateaus, which we reimagined with a modern twist, resulting in a contemporary chateau ambiance. Glamorous lighting fixtures softly illuminated every corner, infusing elegance into the space. The heart of our design, however, lays in the meticulous craftsmanship of the custom cabinetry. Each piece was tailored to perfection, enhancing both functionality and sophistication.

More than mere visual appeal, our design aimed to craft an immersive experience—a sanctuary where modern aesthetics seamlessly merge with classic elegance. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the strategic placement of gold accents, was carefully curated to elevate the ambiance. Welcome to a home where style and substance converge, creating an enchanting atmosphere that transcends mere beauty.
