So education in Milan was probably the most interesting place on the compound, and it’s not what you’re thinking and expected it to be, it’s where the magic happens.
Every place in the BOP has somewhere that is a hot bed for homosexual behavior and that was “education.”
If you are from Minneapolis then it could be compared to the men’s bathroom at the airport where men, specifically one’s holding office, would simply tap a toe to the stall next door to signal they were ready, or that park that all those married men chose to congregate at, instead of getting a hotel room.
It got so bad at Milan education that they took all the doors off of the bathroom stalls. One time I had to take a #2 really bad and used the education restroom and people started to come and go and there I am, “hey guys how’s it going, don’t mind me!”
Another area of prison I guess with a lack of privacy, and of course being new I didn’t know why there were no doors, so I asked someone. The guy said, “you didn’t take a shit in there did you?”
I didn’t think I did anything wrong and said I did, and they just started laughing at me, and when they finally could contain themselves long enough to talk, told me about the gang bang I probably barely avoided. They were kidding of course, but I was the new guy, making an ass out of myself by doing something so simple, and so normal to people on the street.
I guess I don’t have any advice for people going to prison for how to avoid these faux-pas because you also can’t ask questions like this because they will quickly question your intentions.
Prison has definitely been a learning experience and an eye opener and I don’t know if I will ever look at something so simple as a bathroom in education the same ever again.
Thanks for listening!
