Top 25 Registry Items for Newlyweds

Top 25 Registry Items for Newlyweds 1

Spread the love.

As you may know, I am getting married in February! I got engaged back in July, and you can read more about the proposal and our story in our first wedding planning blog HERE

One task we have been working on completing is our registry. This has been exciting and fun for us because we are moving into a new place together after the wedding and need all the household items since neither of us has lived on our own. We’ve both had roommates up until this point and now need to get new things!

I have many amazing women in my life that I have asked their opinions on what I should and shouldn’t register for.

Cooper – my fiance – and I came up with items we knew we wanted and/or needed for our new home and starting our married life together, and then from there, we went to our married friends and family and asked them what items they have loved most or appreciated the most.

So, take a look at these items and if you’re getting married, add them to your registry. Or, if you’re shopping for a couple for their registry, take a look at these items!

You don’t have to be getting married or know someone who is getting married to shop for these items. If you like them and want them for you or to give them as a Christmas present since that’s coming up fast, shop here to let us know what items you like the most from this list of items you would add to this list.

Kitchen

The kitchen is known as the heart of the home. There are so many gadgets out there that you might need or want. From cookware, to cutlery, to all the fancy machines that cook your food, there are so many options and it can be overwhelming to decide what items are right for you.

Here is my list of the top six items I added to my registry.

Top 25 Registry Items for Newlyweds 2

  1. All-Clad HA1 Curated Hard-Anodized Non-Stick 10-Piece Cookware Set
  2. Cuisinart C77TR-16P Triple Rivet Collection 16-Piece Cutlery Block Set, Stainless Steel
  3. OXO GOOD GRIPS® POP 20-PIECE FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER SET
  4. 5 QUART ROUND IVORY ENAMEL CAST IRON DUTCH OVEN
  5. Ninja FD401 Foodi 8-Quart 9-in-1 Deluxe XL Pressure Cooker, Air Fry, Crisp, Steam, Slow Cook, Sear, Saute, Bake, Roast, Broil, Yogurt, Dehydrate, Extra Large Capacity, 45 Recipe Book, Stainless Finish
  6. Ninja® 10-Cup Stainless Steel Specialty Coffee Maker

When I was talking with Cooper as well as other people are me, we knew that we needed good cookware set like the Crate and Barrel on as well as a cutlery set since neither of us had one.

Something that I take pride in for my home is being organized and clean, so I knew I wanted to have a food storage container set so I could keep things cohesive, clean, and organized in our kitchen.

We were told having a dutch oven is super nice and helpful in the kitchen, so we added that to our list as well as a ninja pressure cooker.

There’s always talk about an instant pot versus a pressure cooker, and I think it’s all about preference for which one to get. You can always register for both if that’s what you want to do. I have personally used a pressure cooker more and knew I would get more use out of that, which is why we registered for that.

For me, the biggest and most important item we have registered for is the Ninja coffee maker. I cannot go a day without having coffee and I have always dreamt about having a Ninja coffee maker, which is why we registered for this one.

There are so many kitchen supplies out there, it’s overwhelming!

This was an area that I needed help with from friends and family as to what to register for in this category.

Top 25 Registry Items for Newlyweds 3

  1. The Pampered Chef Mix N Chop #2583
  2. Drizom Citrus Lemon Orange Juicer Manual Hand Squeezer with Built-in Measuring Cup and Grater
  3. OXO Good Grips 3-in-1 Avocado Slicer
  4. Brookstone Automatic Wine Opener in Black
  5. Mueller Austria Pro-Series 8 in 1 Multi-Use Slicer and Dicer

Morgan had said that the Pampered Chef Mix N Chop was the number one item she would recommend. She says it’s what she would get for any shower and something she continuously buys for her family, so I just had to put it on our registry! She says it’s perfect for mashing up hamburger or any other item.

The other items in this list are everyday items that are so helpful, but also items that might not be thought of every day. For example, a manual juicer with a built-in measuring cup. This item is useful for those who like fresh-squeezed juice for cooking or a drink, etc. This was another item that was recommended to me by Kayla, as she has one and says it comes in handy.

Another item Kayla recommended was the avocado slicer that also has a pitter in one as well. For those avocado lovers out there, like me, this is the perfect and easy tool for cutting avocados.

For the wine drinkers out there, an automatic wine opener is a perfect item to add to your registry. No more dealing with the pesky bottle openers that get stuck every time you try to pull the cork out.

Entertaining & Party Supplies

I have been told that once I’m married, we are going to be so excited and eager to host our friends and family. Being able to host as a husband and wife have a whole other meaning to it. So, we needed to make sure we had all the necessary items to entertain with.

Top 25 Registry Items for Newlyweds 4

  1. Open Kitchen by Williams Sonoma Matte 16-Piece Dinnerware Set
  2. 20pc Stainless Steel Silverware Set Gold – Threshold
  3. WHITE MARBLE AND WOOD CHEESE BOARD AND KNIFE SET
  4. NEAT SMOKE DOUBLE OLD FASHIONED GLASS SET OF 8
  5. Waylowe Black Bar Cart

We registered for a nice dinnerware set as well as a gold cutlery set. I wanted to be able to have nice cutlery for when our guests are over to go with our tablescape items.

If you need some tips on how to decorate your table for the upcoming holidays, we have a blog post HERE talking about all things tablescape!

We also have a blog post going over our favorite serveware, like a nice charcuterie board that I have listed on my registry, which is another helpful tool for the upcoming holidays and hosting events. These items are great to add to your registry or to get someone!

Home Decor

Since we’re moving in together, we need decor items as well as general household items.

Top 25 Registry Items for Newlyweds 5

  1. Mango Wood Chain
  2. Sanibel Textured Ceramic Vases – Black
  3. Jasper 7.5″ Black Pillar Centerpiece
  4. 50″x70″ Oversized Chunky Hand Knit Decorative Bed Throw
  5. 20″ x 18″ Seeded Eucalyptus and Pod Plant Arrangement in Ceramic Vase

I looove this wood chain link from the c2s shop, so I asked for that on my registry as well. The c2s shop offers so many fun and unique decor items that would be so fun to decorate your home with.

We also needed more decor items, so we added items that would match the overall aesthetic of our home. I am all for cozy vibes, so I added in a nice chunky blanket as well as a pillar candle centerpiece to bring in those cozy vibes.

Plants and vases are always a nice addition to your home, so we added some of those as well.

Lifestyle

Lifestyle registry items should be more so tailored to the people registering because everyone lives their life a bit differently than the next person, but we wanted to share a few general and fun ideas.

Top 25 Registry Items for Newlyweds 6

  1. SHOWKOO Luggage Sets Expandable Suitcase Double Wheels TSA Lock (Gray)
  2.  Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen, 2021 release) | HD smart display with Alexa and 13 MP camera | Charcoal
  3. AIRBNB GIFT CARD (EMAIL DELIVERY)
  4. Winc Wine Subscription
  5. Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Stick Vacuum

We added a luggage set to our registry because we both have been using old and beaten-up suitcases that have been passed down for years. We are also going to Jamaica on our honeymoon after our wedding, so we need a nice set beforehand.

Another fun idea would be a smart home item like an Amazon Echo to make things easier around your home.

An Airbnb gift card or a gift card to a nice restaurant is another great item to add.

Again, for those wine lovers, consider a wine subscription, or a subscription to a meal prep service, etc.

Something we really need is a nice vacuum. We have a puppy, so having one that picks up dog hair is key, which is why we went for the Dyson.
