What’s better than renovating for our clients? DIY-ing with them! We have been busy DIY-ing with the Snap Agency team and it has been a ton of fun! It all started last year when we made the general manager a new desk for his office. Then in the spring of 2015, we built Snap an industrial new conference table.
Today’s post is sponsored by European Leather Gallery Furniture, but as always, all of our opinions are our own.
Conference Room Remodel
This past month, we have decorated the conference room, re-painted the girls bathroom, remodeled the kitchen with the entire Snap Agency crew. Thanks to Home Goods and Hobby Lobby, we have found a lot of decor goodies for the office.
For the conference room, Snap wanted a large industrial style conference room table, so we were very excited when they hired us for the job. To get the wood to look weathered Jamie torched the table. Once the table was torched he took a wire brush and brushed the table. This removes the softer grains in the wood giving it that old weathered look. You can read more about the conference room remodel, HERE.
Most recently, the wonderful Tim Brown hand lettered these words of wisdom within the conference room. I am all about the motivational quotes so I wanted a large painting on the wall behind the conference table. Tim designed and hand-lettered, Work Hard & Dream Big. Make sure to check out his crash course in hand lettering here, Tim Brown Hand Lettering and his daily hand lettering inspiration on his Instagram account. He’s pretty amazing!
Bathroom Makeover
I started by dragging all of these lovely ladies into help me paint the girls bathroom. I chose Glacier by Resoration Hardware for the paint color, and pictures do not do justice. It is the perfect tone of greyish blue. I am in love.
And of course we spray painted all of the hardware GOLD!!
I bought those adorable new motivational signs from Home Goods.
And for the office cubbies above the desks, I typed up, printed off and framed…of course…more motivational quotes.
Kitchen Makeover
The kitchen cabinets were formerly a dark brown with white walls. Spenser and I chose Gravel from Restoration Hardware for the paint color on the wall and White Dove by Benjamin Moore for the cabinets.
Liz was voted the best painter so she got suckered into painting the kitchen with me!
