Last week we shared the full reveal of our living room remodel, and now we want to dive into what brought this space together. Today we are going to chat about the Timber & Tulip furniture.
I met the beautiful Brianne, who is the founder of Timber & Tulip, a handful of years back. I can’t remember who or what brought us together but I can only imagine it was Instagram. What I do remember is years ago I went to her studio space in NE Minneapolis and wandered around her showroom for hours in awe and left feeling over-inspired. I immediately bought a handful of goodies that still live in our home today and make me so happy, such as this vintage mirror. We bought two and one hangs in our entry and the other in our dining room space.
Although Timber & Tulip no longer carries a wide variety of home decor, like these mirrors, they now focus their attention strictly on furniture but the classy style has remained the same.
Fast forward through the years and we’ve been styling our clients’ homes with her pieces. This end table, natural tree stump and live edge mirror from Timber & Tulip will always be a favorite of mine, and our clients too!
And it’s always a fun surprise when we walk into a client’s home for the first time to find Timber & Tulip pieces already in their homes like the DeRusha kitchen remodel we did. They had already had a Timber & Tulip kitchen table that fit the space even more perfectly once we were done in the room. As you can see it blended in with the elements of the space in the before, but once it was refreshed, it tied in perfectly with the bar area floating shelves and brought so much more character into the home.
Then we saw that Timber & Tulip was coming out with their brand new furniture line and we were going to be in need of a new coffee and end tables. When Brianne sent over the designs, that hadn’t hit the market yet, I remember actually screaming! It was so perfect for the entire vision of the space. A mix of natural elements, a playful mixture, classic and timeless yet fashion-forward… exactly what we were looking for and not finding anywhere.
I knew immediately that the Seville coffee table complimented with their Berkeley end table were going to be perfect in the space. And being we worked with Brianne before, there was no doubt that the quality of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer service would be anything less than perfection.
I was out of town when the delivery came and Jamie sent me a text right away saying how impressed he was with the level of craftsmanship in these tables. Followed by, “we’re keeping these, right?” Ha!
With being a busy family of soon-to-be five, we have lots of sticky fingers in this household. Which means everything that goes into our home has to be practical. We can set a drink on them without feeling a bit worried, spill our red wine on it or the boys can race their cars on them without hesitation. I don’t know if Brianne would want me saying that, ha, but we’ve tested them all out for you!
And best of all, they’re giving you all 20% off with code “c2s20.”
Meet the Seville Coffee Table!
When I first laid eyes on this beauty I couldn’t decide what I loved more, how the two blocks of wood married in perfect harmony as one or the pop of brass?! Jamie was drawn to the clean lines and quality of craft, knowing the level of detail and skill it has to take to create this piece.
We’re all about mixing and matching, in a tasteful way, in our home. Whether that comes to woods, metals, or styles. So this was right up our home’s aesthetic! We also can never decide on which wood tones to incorporate into our home so we loved how this made it simple to pull in both elements easily.
Like all Timber & Tulip designs, the beauty of the craftsmanship is seen in every detail. And don’t feel guilty to eat and drink on this piece of art as the quality and durability of the build and design is intended to be used just as much as it is to admired and appreciated.
Say hello to the Berkeley End Table (which is on SALE right now!!).
We were sold on the Seville table right away, and while we loved all of the side tables from the new collection, we loved how the Berkeley paired perfectly with the Seville. We liked how it pulled in the brass and wood elements from the coffee table.
We knew we needed some sort of end table in between our already purchased accent chairs. And the Berkeley fit perfectly. Although you can also reach out to have them make a customized size, we didn’t have to embark on that journey being it fits so well. This table already quickly gets moved around too whether we pull it in front of the chair to rest our computer on to get some work done, prop a computer on for the boys to watch their shows while we watch ours, or to set our wine or book on.
And how perfect does it match our flooring?!
Their collection is inspired by mid-century modern influences and years of custom furniture creations from all over the country. They designed with the ability to mix and match, which is why we’ve been able to accent T&T pieces so easily into our finished projects despite the different styles our clients have. Their designs are versatile, functional, and practical.
Whether you want to shop products from their collection or work with them on a custom design, I can promise you will be well taken care of and won’t be disappointed.
And don’t forget to use code “c2s20” for 20% off!
I loved your furniture! Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much!
Hi Morgan, we are considering the Essex sofa and were wondering your thoughts on it, now that you’ve had it for a while. Also, how was the shipping process from Poly & Bark? Thanks!
